The Gibson Flying V bass is 30-1/2" scale length with the body made of solid grade-A mahogany finished in high-gloss Cherry nitrocellulose and has a white four-ply Flying V pickguard. The neck is glued-in and is made quarter-sawn grade-A mahogany with a 22 fret fingerboard made from baked maple. The neck profile measures .850" deep at the 1st fret and .900" at the 12th, with a width of 1.60" across its PLEK-cut Corian nut.
The bridge is a 3 point bridge with individually adjustable saddles and the tuners are Grover "shamrock" key tuners. Pick-ups are the contemporary Thunderbird Bass pickups with ceramic magnets controlled by individual volume controls and a master tone control.
The bass comes with its original Gibson Flying V Bass hardshell case, which is manufactured in Canada.
Overall condition of this bass is very good but it does have the usual belt rash on the back and there are some small chips on the lower V part of the body but otherwise the condition is excellent. All electronics work and are clean sounding with no crackling or popping. The neck is straight and the fret board is in very good condition with little or no visible fret wear.
